Wheel Bubbles

Sometimes small air bubbles (voids) are introduced into the urethane during the manufacturing process while making inline skate wheels. Our wheel suppliers carefully engineer their molds and processes to minimize these bubbles, however, it is normal for small ones to still occur. Wheels with large voids that could compromise performance are typically rejected during the quality control process. Don’t be alarmed if you see small bubbles 1-2 mm in diameter in the urethane. They will not affect the great ride you will experience with our wheels.
