Why are Trinity frames shorter than 165/180 mm frames?
The Endless Trinity frames are shorter in height compared to the original Endless 165/180 mm frames. This is a function of the Trinity mounting interface developed by Powerslide. Powerslide essentially moved the mounting interface down so that there is less frame and more boot. There are mounting pedestals that protrude more beneath the Trinity boot than on a 165 mm boot like an FR1 or Twister Edge. Visually this may make us perceive the frame as being lower. The reality is that there is still the same amount of wheel beneath the skate and when ride heights are accurately compared between a Trinity and non-Trinity setup the differences may be less than they appear.
